It is hard for me, sometimes, to watch movies because it seems there is always a reference to War. Instead of crying alone, I decided to begin saving those movies that remind me of my son, SPC Brian ...It is hard for me, sometimes, to watch movies because it seems there is always a reference to War. Instead of crying alone, I decided to begin saving those movies that remind me of my son, SPC Brian Patrick Shaver. My son served his country well. He died shortly after returning from Iraq. Brian earned three Purple Hearts while in Service. He fought in Falluja and Al Yusafia.

I miss my son dearly, and there are tears every day that I will cry for him until I die.

Remember my son, and remember to thank a Soldier for their service.

You don't have to agree with the war, but please respect the Soldier.
