Re: Stagevu's Goal & Removal of copyrighted videos

@ StageVU:
Great job guys! Those blatant infringements of copyright laws really needed to go. People who uploaded all those newly released Hollywood videos should have known right from the start what will happen to their uploads in the end.

@ Fellow Users:
Complaining here, on this forum, about you braking the law and being punished (very lightly) for doing so, is what a lazy person would do.

If you wanna live in the age where people around the world can share video material that they like, freely -  you need to contact your senator or the house representative for your state and tell them so. Petition the government if you want changes. That's what really works.

ROFLMMFAO HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
and where is this fantasy land you live in? That may have worked 50+ years ago, but it's a corporate run world now, and when it comes to governments and International law/treaties now adays, money makes changes not petitions. That's how it really works

Oh Please, I'm sure if it was some of your "little anime cartoons" that were uploaded, you wouldn't be saying what you were saying. This site would have been gone long ago if it wasn't for those copyright infringement users. So, basically they did you a favor...and they didn't get rid of all "those copyright infringements." Congratulating StageVu, is something a stupid person would do.

Everyone, if you want to live in the age of showcasing free videos, don't contact anyone...just go ahead and do it......The government has their hands tied...I rather them catch Bin Laden, and focus on the economy than debate over copyrighted videos...I'm just saying..!

"Hear, hear"?

Anyways, I think we've pretty much fleshed out this issue as far as we're going to without entering the whole, murky world of the politics of copyright. We thank the contributors who expressed their opinions in a civil, constructive manner, and will be closing this thread.
