The PS3 has a divx player inside yet I can't stream videos.Would it be possible to make that happen?

Re: PS3 streaming
already possible, hitting X on the Download button in the middle of the streaming box, not the arrow, will begin buffering / streaming the video.

Re: PS3 streaming
Yes i also do that..
and if there is a lot of buffering just press the circular buttom (while u watching the video) and then triangle - file - save target as. it take about 30-60 minutes to download a video for me, but then there is NO buffering and u can enjoy the full video.

Re: PS3 streaming
Isnt it a pain having to download instead of buffering. The only advantage is that you can watch it offline!

Re: PS3 streaming
Not really, it only take about 30 min. to download a video, so i would rather do that then get buffering every 3 minutes which is soo annoying.

Re: PS3 streaming
I got a terabyte last winter for $150, a good price for then, most TB drives still cost more, I've got about 450 videos and use it as backup for songs and other documents.

Re: PS3 streaming
Unless DivX Inc. creates a DivX Web Player plugin that can be added to PlayStation 3s, it's not going to happen, unfortunately.
