Wow this is really screwed up, you guys are removing almost everything sorry but you have really made a big mistake you site will not be worth visiting now, good luck because you will really need it now, i guess you can't remove my public domain stuff so i may have 1000 videos left, really you should have never allowed us to upload copyright content but you did now to do this to everyone is really unfair, I should be allowed to say what I feel about this matter as I am one of the main uploaders here but what will this site be like when 99% of the videos get removed, other sites are not this strict youtube is not even as bad but you have really gone too far, well i'll just say goodbye then thanks for being a great site in the past it's not anymore.

PhSource , how do you get notified of copyrighted material ?

You said "to remove infringing videos once made aware of their existence" so is it members notifying you or is it some kind of software or something that detects them ?

FromDaBush had over 1000 -ONE THOUSAND- videos removed just today , Im not sure if they were all at once or throughout the day , but that seems like alot being removed for one user.

There have been times I read of one users "copyrighted" video being removed but the SAME video is still up by another user.

I understand why copyrighted material would be removed just seems some users are being targeted.

You knew exactly what would be uploaded to this site before it even came online, you know that copyrighted meterial makes up 98% or more of the content at this site, and we know that you were not informed of all the videos that were taken down, we know it was a digital fingerprint scanning program that was used, something you said you were not going to be using anymore.

now, if you want to remove all copyrighted material, then by all means, remove every last piece oif it, you will then see just how much of the content here is from indipendant creators, and you will also see just how few people continue to come here

so just to make this clear you had 1300 reports in one day all for the same uploader somehow that doesn't ring true.......gonna agree with VP here guess your have to delete almost every vid

ok i now know after looking in the videos and video category that what you said is a load of BS this site won't survive without copyright material and all you have done is cave in and gave up i don't think i will be sticking around anymore unless i want to download a trailer oh and why im here you forgot to delete one "a perfect getaway" it's on my main profile

Copyrighted materials make up this site! You don't allow porn or copyrighted material, so what, you expected people to post home made videos of them singing, and river dancing or something?

This was the top site for uploading videos. But, as many others have mentioned before me...this site is loosing it's mojo ALREADY.

Now, I feel bad for giving that one guy a hard time, for complaining about the site's "technical difficulties." Clearly it wasn't the site, just who is behind it. He was onto something, or should I say "before his time" too sound a little more dramatic.

How are you guys going to remove part 2 of a video I uploaded, and not the other parts? Just that "one" part violated copyright terms? I can't smell bull, but I can smell the sh!t.

Yes the other day i had 2 parts to a 4 part video removed, so i put the missing parts back up, and today lost part 1 of this same dealio...haha (CR only cares about certain parts on certain days?)

I lost another 7 videos today, in addition to that.

Snipped is way too slow. It takes like 23 hours to download one video. I had tried it before.

As for why they delete one part and not all parts of a video. The whole goal is for you to unable to enjoy a complete video hence make you have to go out and buy a real copy. I have seen them do this before even on youtube. They delete one part on purpose yet leave some parts up, serve best for them because it helps promote their material to have a few parts up yet not a complete one. So it pisses you off not being able to watch the full thing and you HAVE to go out and rent/buy one if you want to see a complete video. I have seen other sites turn off the sound on purpose on certain vids, yet leave the image on. Yeah, it's freaking insane.

came to this site because it has by far the best selection of current and older videos on the web. the DIVX player is great. I search the site periodically for videos imagine my surprise when i logged on and found nothing but trailers! tons of them. so i go to my favorite channel. and i see a note from one uploader to the other about removal and i;m thinking what the world is going on. if you guys will nolonger upload current videos then i will beforced to seek another site please say it isn't so.
