Signing Up

We've intentionally designed the registration process to be as short as possible. To sign up:

  1. Visit our sign up page, located at http://stagevu.com/register.
  2. Follow the instructions on the page in selecting a username, password, and enter your email address.
    • If a message pops up alerting you to an error, correct the error and resubmit.
  3. An email address will be sent to you in order to activate your account. It may take up to a minute to arrive. Once it does, click on the link provided to activate your account.
  4. Login by clicking on "Login" in the right top corner of each page.

Don't forget to add extra information by editing your profile information!


Activation Email

Why an activation email? We need to verify your email because it will be our only means of communicating important information about your account with you. Sending an activation email ensures that all future emails we send will get there.

I didn't receive an activation email. We have tested our system with all major free email clients. If you did not receive your activation email:

  1. Check your spam box. It might have been accidentally filtered by your spam filter.
  2. If it's really not there after waiting five minutes, visit our account recovery centre, enter both your username and email, and click on Recover.

Recovering your username or password

If you forgot either your username or your password (or both), visit our our account recovery page and follow the instructions there.


Changing Account Information

The information you provided on the Sign up page is the bare minimum we require. If you choose, you may also change your profile information and profile picture by visiting "Edit Profile Information" in your user controls.

Profile pictures on Stagevu can be a maximum of 300x225 pixels. They are automatically resized to fit within these dimensions after you upload them on your profile picture page.
