Will the view count on videos here start up again when the site returns to normal?

For a short while now, no view count has been updated and all remain locked. Will this be fixed when the site has undergone a month or so to go back to normal?

Correct. View counts are currently being used internally, but not displayed. We will work this out very soon.

Probably not. It will most likely just be a thing of the past or another unfulfilled "promise" that will be dangled like a carrot in front of our noses.

Any attempt at justifying the fact that it was disabled at all, yet somehow THIS Q&A "forum" that essentially does the same thing (keeping track of your points, instead of views on your films) and would require the same, if not a more elaborate program, is  no ore than absolute ridiculous nonsense and invalid
