How about a clear statement of the sites future and current disposition?

+12 votes
Instead of being intentionally and obviously unclear about the site's future, and being evasive about the current disposition -- be upfront with the users of this site.  Patronage too comes with a price, and that is typically honest service.  If the issues are legal, say 'legal', if the issues are soley technical, tell us they are technical, if the issues are due to a change in ownership, simply be upfront.  I suspect many of us would be much more supportive if we didn't feel that we were being either intentionally mislead about the future of the site, or at the very least intentionally being kept in the dark.  Many of us would very much like to remain loyal patrons.  Loyal patronage should be rewarded with a clear message.  Before some Admin says it's none of our business, remember that a store with no customers is simply empty space.

Unfortunately, we can't help but be vague on this until the issue is resolved, due to legal ramifications. However, rest assured that once everything is resolved (this month likely), we will fully explain what was going on.

Thank you.  I believe I understand what legalities you are referring.  I remain hopeful - and loyal for the time being.
