Did Stagevu cause the increase in the price of Gas

I was told by one of my wife's personalities that the price of gas went up because Stagevu quit allowing uploads and now people have to drive more to get the movies they want to watch.

No, not true.
However, the unrest in the middle east has been attributed in large part to uploaders who've had their videos removed, which had a knock-on effect on gas prices.
