A remedy for the stop n go’s

Sometimes,, more frequently as of late,, the video ‘stutters’,, the picture freezes and the audio continues. In the worse of cases,, NOT as frequently,, both video and audio freezes,, the audio annoyingly repeats the last sound over and over. Then it kinda ‘catches up” to where the movie is supposed to be. Does anybody know what causes this &/or fix it?

This sounds more like a problem with your system. If I'm running lots of programs or something is downloading or antivirus scanning I get the same thing.
Check the memory usage and load on your machine.
