That snow was probably in the higher elevations, I am betting in the San Garbriel and San Bernardino Mtns. Western San Bernardino Co. gets light snow in the winter. If you are high enough, there can be quite a bit of snow in CA, it just depends on the elevation. The Donner Party found that out the hard way.

Yes, Burbank is a suburb of LA, but I am going to grad school in the upper Midwest this year and have been in Seattle for the holidays, so thankfully I missed the latest mess there. I have had a good scare the last two summers with wildfires.

Well, it isn't REALLY going to be Gotham until they start filming the next one (this summer, I think), but my Thanksgivings are always quiet, wonderful, and family-free.
