I hear that. I uploaded Sucker Punch, Cowboys and Aliens, all 8 Harry Potter movies, the Lords of the Rings Trilogy Extended, I am Legend, Constantine, Robin Hood (Unrated), Pathfinder, Green Lantern Extended, the Matrix Trilogy, and many others - - - same message. Invalid Format. These play fine on my friends machines. I think something in their software rejects things that are "seriously protected" and spits out some bogus message. However, there are others that manage to upload 100GB a week and never complain. I think StageVu hates me. Lol. And 2 hours to upload is incredibly slow on my broadband which gives me 30mb upload, 50mb download speeds. I hate the other sites because they want to stuff programs on your computer and mama didnt raise a fool. I have cleaned off a computer and tried 4 different sites and all 4 of them got seriously infected by trojans, spyware and other nasty malware. Never will I put that on my movie machine. NEVER! Hope we figure it out soon.

hi there, things with me are ok, am doin' ok and thankful for God's blessings. ive read a few days ago that 15% of Americans are now on food stamps, so im not gonna complain.. things like that help on overall perspective, which i could say more on along with the world situation, but i dont want to get into apocalyptic details just yet.

as for downloading on here, since u said it goes straight to WMP, either try right-clicking on Download and choose Save As (or the option to Download the file using an independent downloading program if installed) or u will need to modify ur default program used for the .avi file type (toggle Windows-D or just click the desktop background, then hit F1 and type in Default Programs and take it from there).

about uploads on here... i havent really tried to upload anything in about 2 months other than doing test runs. needless to say, when the upload system is quirky (which is most of the time), the procedure gets stuck on the thumbnail pic choice...

(continued) which server the file lands on for publishing is not really in the uploader's control, but if u leave it alone sometimes the file hops to a different server at which point a thumbnail can be selected and uploading finished.. however, the waiting could take from weeks to who knows how long, and it's because of this 'Awaiting Publishing' situation (along with massive upload removals and also server download speed issues) that many previous uploaders have abandoned this site. that being said, there are several things in place, whether on purpose or quirks im not sure, which prevent uploaders from even reaching the thumbnail pic step. those obstacles can be overcome.

anyways, i forgot to ask how are you doing? if u have a film request let me know and il see what i can do. i generally dont do requests but this would be a good challenge since there are still some things i havent tried yet.

cool. ty. i saved it. and have a hard drive full of good stuff. (and an external w way more). imma take a break and try your tip later. got things to do. i did notice that some servers load quick and some lag for 1 to 2 hours in downloads so it makes sense that it's true for uploads. (the 70's suck which is why i have so many faved - either they won't load or have a eta of 5-7 Hours) owel. tryiing later.

you can try this when you click on submit a video and after it goes to upload page look at your upper windows bar and you will see something like this http://u03stagevucom/upload take the u03 out and put in u59 and then click enter and it will take you to that upload page and then upload your movie that is the only server that trying to work good but sometimes after upload and you get a thumbnail error leave it dont delete it it sometimes moves around to other servers gdluck
