Is leaving myself a comment too bizarre? How else do you post for all to see? Anyway I'm new to this website. And don't do a lot of this. Even my Youtube account isn't fleshed out. And I don't believe in Facebook. I chose this name, as I'm a Sherlock Holmes fan and collector. Got all of Basil Rathbone on DVD now. But I'm not a member of the Baker Street Irregulars. So I came up with SH Irregular. Get it?

If I can ever manage to upload anything, it will likely be films not protected on DVD. Which are rare indeed. Hopefully the brightness levels will be much better than what I'm seeing uploaded here. Is everything on StageVu always 20% dimmer? This could be the result of user's ripping tools. Or the DVD protect, is dimming the level. I think there's a way to fix the brightness of AVI files. But it's slow going, on my old PC.

3 episode mini series are very popular in the UK for some reason. It is very frustrating, especially when you have to wait 1.5 years for the next season but I do think the wait is worth it, especially when it comes to Sherlock. Another favourite mini series of mine is Red Riding, if you don't know it you should check that out. The 3 episodes are labelled Red Riding - In The Year Of Our Lord 1974, 1980 and 1984.

And yes, I know that the actor who plays the cabbie (Phillip Davis) plays DS Miles in Whitechapel.

Another series I love, especially the second season with Craig Parkinson as the Kray twins.

The DVD will be available by next week, you can order it through amazon UK.
The reason why they don't make long seasons and many seasons after another is because both the writers and the actors are very busy with other projects. Cumberbatch is now signed for the next Star Trek, he was in Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, War Horse and a couple of smaller movies last year and Freeman is busy with The Hobbit.
A 3rd season of Sherlock has already been approved, the same time they approved the second season, but it won't be filmed till later this year (if we're lucky) but most likely not till next year.
It's not really the kind of series that works with lots of episodes and lots of seasons so having a 1 1/2 year wait in between each season (not only in between 1 and 2) is quite probable.

I'm glad you enjoyed the episode. Stagevu is being difficult and won't let me publish episode 2 and 3, unfortunately.
