Rod Lurie is remaking Straw Dogs now, will be released in 2011. He said he understand the outcry and tries to have a different take on the film but ppl are already mad at him simply for touching this film. Haha. Well, he made The Contender and Deterrence. So better him than someone worse, like a studio hack.
