Welcome to the Dollhouse, however is one of my all-time favorites.
It's ridiculous, especially since the MPAA isn't even comprised of parents for the most part. Have you ever seen This Film is Not Yet Rated? It's a really amazing documentary about the ratings system, and the corruption within the MPAA.
Seriously though, much as I love to mock them with my sister, I really think that there is nothing worse for children to be watching as the Twilight series. They are nothing but a glorified abstinence parable, covered in the glittery message that stalking is romantic, and the man who seeks to isolate you from your friends and family is the one to choose. It's fucking sick, and the worst part is that it isn't even well written, and the movies are utter tripe.
I grew up on Harry Potter, which I respect. That universe is beautifully constructed to the point where you actually almost believe that you're going to get an owl on your eleventh birthday. Not to mention the fact that the books are extremely well-written, especially for children's fiction.
Although Twilight is good for one thing. I've gone to all of them with my sister (after paying for a different movie, of course, Stephanie Meyer is not going to get a dime out of me) and loudly talked shit from the middle row. The twitards get so angry!
