Plot : A Zombie is found aboard a boat off the New York coast which belongs to do a famous scientist. Peter West,a journalist, travels to the Antilles with Ann, the daughter of the scientist. On the way, they meet with with Brian, a ethnologist, and Susan. When they arrive at Matul Island, they find Dr. Menard, and discover a terrifying diease which is turning the Islanders into horrifying Zombies which devour human flesh and seem indestructable

well it is a awesom movie form the 70's but it's not flesh eaters this is the first ZOMBIE not zombie 2 flesh eaters cause if it was they wouldn't be on a island they would be in the city eating people theres like 5 or 6 to ZOMBIE but this is a classic

Damn, wasn't too Bad of a good movie. Thanks. I remember this when it 1'st came out. But Before that was the fog the original version. Then came the island of Dr. Moream the 1977 version. I'm gonna give this movie here a 8.9/10 Once again thanks.

This film was marketed as a sequel of sorts to George Romero's 1978 Dawn of The Dead film. It was a break through film for Lucio Fulci, (pronounced FOLL-CHEE...he is Italian) a European horror film director. Much like Romero, he made a career of horror films themed with the undead. He died in Rome Italy in 1996. Famed Director Quentin Tarantino re-released Lucio Fulci's "The Beyond" in 1998, and has often credited Lucio as a major inspiration.

Anyways, this is a very good Zmbie flick not to be missed.
