This film was marketed as a sequel of sorts to George Romero's 1978 Dawn of The Dead film. It was a break through film for Lucio Fulci, (pronounced FOLL-CHEE...he is Italian) a European horror film director. Much like Romero, he made a career of horror films themed with the undead. He died in Rome Italy in 1996. Famed Director Quentin Tarantino re-released Lucio Fulci's "The Beyond" in 1998, and has often credited Lucio as a major inspiration.Anyways, this is a very good Zmbie flick not to be missed.
