Rod Serling was the most brilliant television screenplay writer of our modern time.
After receiving tremendous accolades for his work on "Requiem for a Heavyweight" (one of his most notable and renowned dramas for television) he eventually was given a chance to write and produce what would become the most recognized weekly "sci-fi" t.v. show of all time. This is where it all began.
