When they bring them to the Sanctuary, they discover the women have special powers, and that they appear to to be the Morrígan, used to bring death on a battlefield, and they caused the destruction of an entire ancient village. Meanwhile, the Cabal, Magnus' nemesis organisation, whose goal is to rid the abnormals captures the abnormal keepers of the crypt to ensure the Morrígan's capture. For the safety of the Sanctuary, the women turn themselves in, but also plan to break free from their capture, though this was never seen or referred to since.
