...This is the German Grand Prix at the Nurburgring on August 3, 1975. The cars of 1975 were particularly good looking. From the Ferrari 312T to the Brabham BT44B (which was victorious with Carlos Reutemann in this race) to the Shadow DN5A this is one of the best looking eras in F1.
This is from German TV but there is no commentary, just the great sounds of Cosworth DFVs and Ferrari Boxer V12s. There are a lot of somewhat distant views from helicopters but there are also many close ups. What a beautiful track!
Niki Lauda led at the start at this track where he was nearly killed a year later. A year after that the Nurburgring was gone from the F1 circuit. In 1984 a 'new' Nurburgring was finished but it was a completely new track, not worthy of the original's name.
