The first wealthy benefactor with a social conscience to appear in this new series is not your common-or-garden millionaire. Liz Jackson lost her sight at 26, but was adamant her disability wouldn't define who she is, so she set up a successful telemarketing business. She admits she couldn't have managed without help and wants to return the favour by going under cover in south London and identifying deserving people and charities - especially those supporting people with disabilities - that could do with a little financial help themselves. There were no preview DVDs available at the time of writing, but Secret Millionaire rarely fails to wring a few tears from even the most hard-hearted viewer and we suspect there'll be a few emotional sniffles when Liz reveals her true identity and hands over a cheque.
