Sure didn't expect the profuse amount of blood, considering the original manga/anime don't really have much of it. Overall, the movie seemed a lot darker than the other versions.

Well... it's not on Hulu any longer but yu can catch a few episodes on funimation.com. It is also spelled mushi-shi here, not mushishi. Too bad. There were 25 episodes about 6 months ago.

It's a pretty well done live-action considering most aren't, bit of twist from the anime though. Too bad it didn't have the whole content of the show in it... Not to mention that the ending was a little more then odd? I mean WTF!? He drizzles something on her and then he's gone? Couldn't they have tried a bit harder on the ending?! Or at least explained it better?
