What a crazy lil film, intriguing concept, kept me interested thoroughly. Seemed to have elements of lots of other films; Mitsuko was my favorite; she really wanted to live, till the bitter end. I can see how this wouldn’t carry over well to American audiences, at least not yet; soon we will be desensitized enough though :)
