I believe this was one of the first films I watched on this site and is probably one of the most well made Vampire films to have been released in recent years. It's not laden with nonsensical clichés of pseudo gothic romanticism that some trite film makers have literally "bled to death". On the contrary it is a very fresh take on an ancient story. Hammer films plans to release their remake of this immediate classic in October of this year. Lets be thankful it isn't being done in Hollywood and lets pray that their version doesn't ram a stake through the hearts of those of us who love an appreciate the original.
This is a must see film for horror fans and those who simply love and recognize a well made film. Thanks should be given to anyone who posts it, IN THE ORIGINAL LANGUAGE with subs. A dubbed masterpiece is the equivalent of throwing excrement across the face of the Mona Lisa.

I absolutely loved this film when I saw it at the cinema. The stars shine brightly in this one, beautifully shot with intelligently applied gore the future I hope for horror films. B R I L L I A N T!! : )

I love scary movies, this not even close more of a romantic. Although this movie was done very well, i was completely surprised an impressed. I'm going to burn this one for sure. Worth watching if you don't mind reading sub
