Entertaining science series in which farmer Jimmy Doherty investigates supermarket food production. In this programme he looks at our favourite snack foods. He attempts to mix his own cola syrup and inject some fizz and also tries to make shaped potato snacks. How will drainpipe, a hand-mincer and a water cooler bottle help him? He goes to the world's biggest ice cream factory and also visits a crisp factory to discover why the perfect crunch makes eating crisps so enjoyable.
