"Ebonezer" ...that's what they should have named this movie because to me it's like a prequel to the Dickens classic "A Christmas Carol"to me. Classic psychotic Christmas horror where a young boy who witnessed the cold blooded brutal murder of his parents on christmas eve by a derranged psychopath armed robber dressed up as santa gets raised in a strict orphanage that used corporal punishment, having constant nightmares of his horrid recent past while mother superior forces him to sit on santa's lap even! It's no wonder why he ends up ruthlessly hating Christmas and Santa Clause. (I would watch THIS first then watch "A Christmas Carol") and then it will all make sense. (lol)
