This popular/working title of album based on ref. to chapter 69 of cryptically written “Book of Lies” (1912) by occultist (Latin =“secret, clandestine”), practicioner of Kabbailism & Black Sex Magic, Aleister Crowley, (Ozzy wrote famous tune about), where, in ch. 69 he uses expression "The way to succeed and the way to suck eggs" as cryptic euphemism for 69 sex (i.e., "suck seed" and "suck eggs"). Crowley titled ch. 69 with Greek meaning “head” or "leader" & Greek for “69” (both slang 4 oral sex) -as this Greek name appears on album cover as official title. As Crowley describes it: "This book deals with many matters on all planes of the very highest importance. It is an official publication for Babes of the Abyss, but is recommended even to beginners as highly suggestive." Wrote a commentary about each ch., assisting reader in Qabalistic interpretation. So it doesn’t have any reference to Bible as many believe.
