Peter Cushing was an absolute LEGEND in his time with Hammer Studios..Himself and Christopher Lee especially as Dracula were awesome but this is a great performance from another actor to play the Vampire role against Cushings character. Love the Era of The Hammer Horror..Would love to see many more of this type of film made again..Less Blood and Guts..More of a good storyline...Thnx for posting it..Much appreciated btw!

Brilliant - love all the hammer films, have done since i was a kid. Peter Cushing & Christopher Lee are legends. Shame Christopher wasnt in this one but it's still a classic. Yvonne Monlaur was one of the most beutiful Hammer girls imo, and they did manage to find some stunners

Hadn't seen this one for many years. Picture quality is excellent. Very much in the Hammer tradition. Interesting that Van Helsing says that vampires can be destroyed by burning, in all the others I can recall this is said not to be the case.
A stake through the heart (sometimes specified as wooden), decapitation, and pure running water are the usual favoured methods.

amazing how this old films are in such good veiwing mode, more so then some of the newer ones. Unless they have been ripped.
