Great programme. Facts are facts and it's annoying how the media and press only show one side of the story. It makes complete sense that the sun is responsible for change and also how the patterns are not so significant when looked at in a historical context.

We are told in this "documentary" that greedy scientists have conspired to concoct the global climate change "scare" in order to get research grants. Who do you suppose has more money on their side, scientists or the carbon-based fuel companies?
Look around on the web and find figures for yourself; one I found was: "President Obama’s FY2011 Budget proposes $2.56 billion in funding for climate and global change research conducted under the U.S. Global Change Research Program." from the Government Accountability Project
In 2006 ExxonMobil continued to lead the world in both profits ($39.5 billion in 2006) and market value ($460.43 billion). As of July 1, 2010, ExxonMobil occupied 8 out of 10 slots for Largest Corporate Quarterly Earnings of All Time [for ANY company]. Furthermore, it occupies 5 out of 10 slots on Largest Corporate Annual Earnings.
These are figures for just one company (albeit the world's largest). Decide for yourself where the "conspiracy" lies.

Some people just don't want science, they just want to belive in something ...
So, in the final days of the 20th century, the millenium craze created a new pseudo religion - the belive in the human ability to overpower and cancel out the effects of the sun here on earth by human ways and means.
"We DID it !", "Mea Culpa!", sounded the belivers, ignoring that all real scientific evidece pointed to the contrary, that even the scientists quoted by the high priests of "human induced global warming" didn't know about there luck...
Humans are funny creatures, in the end... Believing they can do anything more to this planet than making a temporary mess of things. Nothing we have at our disposal can do anything against the slightest hickup of the sun, or the temporary rage of even the smalest of vulcanos. We can't stop earthquakes, tectonic shifts or the next ice age. The planet has never been colder than in the last Million years, we had never before 2 (!!!) polar ice caps...

The IPCC has cherry picked statistics to "prove" CO2 is responsible for global warming.

This is politically driven, with the intent of levying carbon taxes on the businesses and individuals of industrialized nations.
Effectively raping the middle classes and incentivizing big business to move from western countries to developing countries such as China and India.

Even if you do believe in man made global warming, the approach of cap and trade does NOTHING to reduce OVERALL CO2 emissions. It only moves the jobs, industry (and that oh, so deadly, CO2) to another part of the globe!

This has NOTHING to do with reducing pollution but everything to do with money, control and elimination of an intelligent, moneyed, middle class which could be a thorn in the side of the monopolistic, power-hungry global corporations and the self appointed world elite.

Third world nations that desperately need to industrialise are denied the right to create power plants effectively condemning the people of these countries to more years of starvation and hardships.
This is tantamount to genocide!

Any scientist that dares question these assumptions, risks losing their jobs and/or funding along with vilification, slander and demonization. Consequently, dissenting voices are rarely heard.

The nature of science is, and always has been, to try to find the truth of reality. Science has now been co-opted to sell a certain line. The question is, will people continue to buy it or will the average Joe start to think for themselves and make up their own minds, (based upon ALL the available evidence) or continue to believe whatever they are spoon-fed to believe.

This film provides stimulating information for the questioning mind. But for those who feel happy living in a semi-catatonic state perhaps you'd best avoid!

Great Documentary, I enjoyed it. I think it's great to hear opposing sides. Some people have an already set mentality, when one investigates, you may find that what you thought was true, may not be. Great upload.

This isn't a documentary, it's a polemic that deliberately sets out to distort the debate.

It's a sinister piece of propaganda and certainly not to be given any credence.
