Between the fall of Rome and the European Empires, few events were more significant than the rise of Islam. Within a few centuries, Islam pollinated through Africa to the West Indies, and from Spain to India due to its merit. Inspired by the Divine words and the noble character of the last of the Prophets, Muhammad ibn Abdullah (peace and blessings be upon him), Islam reached the hearts and minds of people around the world.
This three hour documentary documents some of the spectacular historical legacies and the immense Muslim contributions to what is now known as European Renaissance. Historical re-enactments and a remarkable exposition of Islamic art, artifacts and architecture are combined with interviews.
The natural growth of Islam among people of all beliefs including secularists and atheists has encouraged the West to revisit Islam from an unbiased eye. This documentary is a first attempt in that direction.
