I mean the story line is brilliant, some of the props s*ck big time and the acting is more like reading a quecard stack while in the forest. Even with my mediocre acting background I believe I could do better.
It feels nearly painful to watch this, having ancestry to the depicted time period and region. A kick in the groins if you will.
For some better viking action check out "Outlander" or "The 13th Warrior". The latter being based in actual historical events as far goes the middle eastern ambassadorial connection to Scandinavia.
