Well... This is all very unpleasant and I would consider it offending only if this Jeremy person wasn't an Englishman and therefore obviously very condescending and self-sufficient by nature. I will do no such thing as getting worked up about this -even though it is very rude to pretend and being interested only to make fun of such customs. I shall simply point out that my country is -just like any other- one with a very rich cultural and historical past, and is also a very intellectual, fun and lively country (that part has unfortunately been sacrificed for the sake of 'being funny'). I am most certain that anyone who has actually lived in Belgium would agree with this. I personally think that kind of attitude is nothing but petty ans mean, and that is not how PEOPLE treat other PEOPLE. Thank you for reading.
