get the VLC Player (its freeware) which plays everything,
there is an "advanced options"where you can rearrange the soundline (or whatever you call this in english) i used +1,7 seconds and now the sound nearly fits.
The best place to "calibrate it" is the fight club scene because the punch is a short sound which is easy to locate and you´ve got a visual reaction for the sound.
