As the Emperor prepares to begin Ragnarok, both Lelouch and Suzaku head to Kaminejima to face him. Suzaku, no longer restrained by his notions of wrong methods being meaningless, strikes a deal with Schenizel to become Knight of One in exchage for assassinating the Emperor. Lelouch, using his Geass to its full potential, compells much of the Britannian military to follow his orders. Meanwhile, the leaders of the Black Knights decide to declare Zero dead, as the truth would be far more difficult to swallow, but Kaguya and Jeremiah are suspicious of their story. Anya's mind is taken over by Marianne, and she restores C.C.'s memories. The two begin to put their own plans into motion. At Kaminejima, the plans laid by Lelouch and Suzaku come to a head. Suzaku is held at bay by Bismarck, while Lelouch marches in unopposed. Within the Sword of Akasha, Lelouch confronts his father. Knowing he can't kill the Emperor, Lelouch destroys the entrance, planning to seal them both inside for eternity.
