It's not a "lefty"tot tome, rather a historical look at trends in once-functioning democracies from modern history that are being repeated in our country today. It gives any reader (or viewer of the lecture) a much-needed history lesson and constitutional refresher. Most importantly, it puts the recent gradual loss of civil liberties in the U.S. in a historical context. The average American might not be alarmed at AT&T selling our private information to the Bush administration, but when this action is seen as part of a larger series of erosions and events, a pattern emerges with unfortunate consequences that become disturbingly clear.

YES, God is the only one who can help us now. With politicians being bought by health insurance companies so they will vote against what this country needs. All the Reps. are doing is voting down anything and everything the Dems. try to do, So they can win the next election. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THIS COUNTRY. But there is a good thing that will come out of all this, The Republican party will be extinct, People will see how there corupt ideals are destroying this country. Were ranked 18th in the world on the list of "Preventable Deaths", Canada is ranked 6th. Sure it may take a week or two longer to see your doctor, But in canada EVERYONE can see a doctor. "not a lefty tome"???? That's precisely what it is. Incredible to see what the left saw as "destroying" America in '07 - '08 - defending ourselves abroad, imprisoning terrorists from the field of battle. How things have changed now. The battles and prisons wage on but no complaints from the left w/ Obama in office. But for citizens, the attack on America is REAL now and from WITHIN. God help us.Report
