So far from what I've watched of it, it seems very very similar to Trainspotting - but with acid.

Hey red-09, sorry, I'm a huge welsh fan, but only the books. Trainspotting was a great movie, and so is this, if you love welsh. I see your point, if that one trick he's become known for isn't your thing, then this isn't your movie.ยจ
I still hope that Porno will be made into a movie and that it will be at least half as good as the book.
Still, this is worth watching, and very underrated.

I really find it hard to label this film. It's not a comedy,parody or anything like that. To me. I think this film appeals to the sick minded. Per-usual, Irvine Welsh does a great job of making Scotland out to be a 3rd world country, and give him an excuse to have uncalled for rancid sex scenes. So if your into watching chavs and neds get smashed out their heads, take drugs and have random sex then fill your boots. But if you actually want to watch a ''FILM'' then this isn't the one for you. 0.1/5 from me. simply because Irvine Welsh is a one trick pony, if that.
