Paul Muni stars as Eric Toresen, an apolitical and basically pacifistic Norwegian fisherman who is galvanized into action when his village is occupied by the Nazis. With a group of courageous resistance fighters, Toresen first endeavors to sabotage and demoralize the German troops then escapes to Britain, there to help organize commando raids against his country's oppressors.

Because of that it is not admissible that the belgian king (german princ Cobourg) Leopold III...ordered to belgian army to surender, when british and french troops comed to help against nazi invasion through belgian Ardennes (emprisoning by that act more than houndred thousand Alliees soldiers). And how can be acceptable that after such Alliees desaster, king Leopold III visited THREE times Hitler in his military QG Berchtesgarden, maried nazi governor daughter...all that BEING NAZI PRISONER as king pretended after war...and imposed by weapons putch 1950 his come back, instaling his son Baudouin as successor. But in 1945. May Belgian Parlament voted at unanimity, banishment of the king without conditions...which means, desmissed king was not legaly in position to impose his successor. German princ Cobourg, belgian king is the master-chief over Hitler. FRB.
