ok, after being unable to access this initially then waiting the required time for server rotation, i was able to view this. It is indeed The Protector (not Ong Bak), the title at minute 00:1:10 and the production year 2005 showing at minute 1:22:57 in the credits. AUDIO THAI; NO SUBTITLES. Upon further review in imdb, it shows

Runtime:108 min | Germany: 90 min | USA: 81 min

Perhaps the USA cut was tailored so the audience wouldn't lose interest. Maybe it was thought there were too many scenes of training with elephants and it might seem at points to resemble too much of a nature documentary? Or the cut was made to drive multiple profit from the same target audience in incremental manner... not really sure. But good luck to those who will be searching for the full cut, maybe u can comment on that after viewing it.

Tony Jaa and Donnie Yen are two of the current best who are rising after the martial arts legacies of Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, Van Damme, Jackie Chan, and Jet Li.

This is an americanized remake of the original OnkBak which was titled OnkBak:The Time Warrior...Onk Bak2 is the prequel to this which shows his muaythai roots and training in more detail....yall are fucking retards
