Many thanks for this film, wish I could give it 10 stars. Worth watching with your partner curled up on the sofa with a cake to nibble.Report

Will Ferrel's understated and gentle manner is very funny and makes a welcome change. The plot is a beautifully convoluted literary maze, a ludicrous framework made very engaging by the competent acting. Maggie Gyllenhaal's vivacious passion is wonderful although its a shame her character doesn't get to justify her distaste of income tax - which would be because every bit of our income tax goes to pay for a debt that shouldn't exist, and wouldn't exist if only our governments controlled the currency instead of borrowing it from the central banks, which are 3/4 privatately owned, largely by the Rothschild dynasty, and create currency out of thin air which they don't sell but only lend, so that every bit of currency in circulation accumulates perpetual interest to the central and the lending banks (video.google eg The Money Masters). I guess truth is an early casualty in all corporations, including Holywood's. Altogether a very enjoyable and funny folly. Thanks for posting adamoceanking!Report
