The Cannabis Cup is a festival that was started in 1987 by High Times editor Steven Hager, who came ...The Cannabis Cup is a festival that was started in 1987 by High Times editor Steven Hager, who came to The Netherlands for an interview with the founder of the first Dutch cannabis-seed company. The Australian owner, Nevil, lived in a mansion filled with growrooms that Hager dubbed "The Cannabis Castle". The festival, held annually in Amsterdam, The Netherlands is one of the most famous cannabis events among cannabis smokers and cannabis-oriented businesses. The public is exposed to a large variety of marijuana strains which they then help to judge. A team of judges decides every year which company brought the best marijuana, best new product or nicest booth to the festival.

Highest recorded participation was in 1995 with 1,500 judges.[1] In 2007, the 20th Annual Cannabis Cup Opening Ceremonies featured Tommy Chong and Redman. A film of the anniversary event was released in the summer of 2008.

THANK YOU. Newer versions would be mega awesome! Knowledge is power. Pass the natural gift to the left. I am watching this because I have been without for a long time. My friends and family have been affected by unfair laws in Canada and the poor execution of them. I was very lucky to have enjoyed the benefits of marijuana everyday for 6 years but I've lost access to it because we're all scared of losing everything again when the next random informant needs to produce results.
