これは教育？素晴らしい授業！賛否両論を呼んだ実話の映画化
「食育」や「いのちの授業」が叫ばれる前、総合的学習時間もまだなかった1990年。大阪の小学校の新任教師がはじめた実践教育が、日本中に波紋を投げかけた。“ブタを飼って、飼育をした後、食べる”というものだった。「Ｐちゃん」と名付けられたブタは、３２人の子どもたちに愛され、家畜ではなくクラスのペットとなっていく。食べるか。食べないか。２年半の飼育の後、子どもたちの卒業を控えて、Ｐちゃんの処遇を巡って大論争が展開される。しかし、問題はそこで終わらなかった。
